Oakland Unite Hosts International Visitors

On Wednesday, April 15th Oakland Unite hosted a group of visitors as part of the Department of the State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. These international visitors came from Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. They got to learn about the important violence prevention and intervention work done by Oakland Unite funded agencies. The visitors had lots of questions, and were able to share a little about the work they do in their home countries. It was a great opportunity to talk about Oakland Unite’s work in an international context.
