Oakland Unite 2019-2021 Request for Proposals

Oakland Unite is pleased to release the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the July 2019 through June 2021 funding cycle. The City seeks qualified agencies to form a network of community providers and system partners who strive together to support people at the center of violence. Important Dates

  • RFP Issue Date: January 18, 2019
  • Pre-Proposal Meeting: January 31, 2019, 2 – 5 p.m. (City Hall)-Watch Video HERE
  • Networking Session and Proposal TA: February 7, 2019, 1- 3 p.m. (150 Frank Ogawa Plaza)
  • Notice of Intent Recommended Due Date: February 1, 2019
  • ONLINE PROPOSALS DUE: February 28, 2019
  • Hard Copy Proposals Due: March 1, 2019

RFP Materials

This RFP will provide approximately $10 million in funding for programs across four strategic investment areas. Applicants should review the RFP materials below, and are also strongly encouraged to read the Oakland Unite Spending Plan 2019-2021. Please note that an RFQ for capacity-building services will be issued separately.

Networking & Collaboration

Oakland Unite hosted a networking session to encourage collaboration among potential applicants and facilitate connections with system partners. A list of attendees will be posted soon.

Questions

Questions regarding the proposal process can be submitted by e-mail to OaklandUniteRFP(AT)oaklandnet.com and responses will be posted within five (5) business days HERE. Questions will not be taken by phone.

Contracts & Compliance Information

iSupplier Registration: Contractors who wish to participate in the RFP process must register in iSupplier to receive updates and announcements.

Required Schedules: The City requires all applicants to fill out several forms to ensure compliance with local ordinances and laws. The following forms should be submitted with hard copy proposal submissions.

Contracting Forms: Additional forms will be required post-award; a sample City services agreement can be found here. General information on City contracting can be found here.

City Local Or Small Local Business Enterprise (S/LBE) Program: Applicants who are registered with the City S/LBE program may earn additional preference points. For details:
