Oakland Unite in the News

Chip Johnson from the San Francisco Chronicle wrote an article highlighting the success of two Ceasefire and Oakland Unite program participants. After being called in by Ceasefire the two men opted to access services. Working intensively with their Oakland Unite Case Manager they were successful taking the steps to begin to transform their lives. Their case manager was able to connect them to Oakland Unite funded employment programs for job training and both participants are currently successfully employed. This article is an important acknowledgement of the hard work of these two young men.
